Ashley Tucker, a Customer Service Representative in Loan Operations, will soon take the next step in her career by transitioning to a role interacting directly with customers. After working for the company for more than a year, she has acquired the experience she needs in processing transactions for customers and borrowers to move to the “main stage.” Ever enthusiastic, she is more than ready to take on the responsibilities of one of the most important positions in the company.
If past experience is an indicator, Ashley will be a big hit with customers. She is already a big hit with our staff. Her immediate supervisor, Leshia Litton, Manager, Loan Operations, has nothing but praise for Ashley. “When I first met Ashley shortly after I was hired here, she told me she ‘loved her job’ and was very excited to be a part of Campus Partners. I thought what a great attitude. I’m very excited to have Ashley join the Customer Service team. Her attitude and prior customer service experience will be a great addition to our group,” Leshia noted.
Attitude always goes a long way in providing customer service, but Ashley also has the knowledge to back it up. She is well trained in federal regulations, products and services, and all aspects of customer service work. She started out by working with batched mail and processing forms so she knows her job from the ground up. Her goal is to resolve issues in one phone call by processing transactions for her customers as she talks to them on the phone. That way they do not have to wait to see if their work is processed or make follow up calls.
Ashley is also very experienced in providing customer service. She previously worked as a flight attendant for a major airline, ensuring the safety and comfort of her passengers. The airline knew a winner when they saw one, and she was hired directly out of high school, as one of the youngest flight attendants in the industry. Not afraid to take a risk, she moved from a small town in North Carolina to New York City. Her travels took her across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, but after five years based in New York, she decided it was time to come home to North Carolina.
Upon returning home, she worked as a customer service representative for a credit card company before coming to Campus Partners. She feels very fortunate that she was hired by Campus Partners. “I like the people here and I like the opportunity to learn. I want to be great at what I do—and I want to be here forever!” Ashley stated. “Working directly with customers is going to be more challenging and I look forward to it.” Her immediate goal is to advance with the company and eventually become a Customer Service Specialist IV.
Outside of work, her life goes to the dogs—one lucky dog to be exact. Ashley is the proud parent of Macy Freedom Tucker, an adorable Shih-Tzu and poodle combination. Ashley feels very fortunate that her mother takes care of Macy during the day so she does not have to worry about her pet while she is working. Ashley devotes most of her free time to her dog, which is very protective of her.
Life is good for Ashley—great job, great family support, and a great, but tiny dog. And life is good for our customers, with the addition of an enthusiastic, new member to the Customer Service team.
