Inside Campus Partners
Frankye Jones, Servicing Support Specialist

February 2007

Frankye Jones, Servicing Support Specialist, personifies the phrase ‘team player’. As part of the Servicing Support team, Frankye’s group is charged with such functions as keying new loans and advances, mailing all forms and correspondence that have been processed during the month, including bankruptcies and LVC’s, sending paper exits to borrowers and performing payment reversals for NSF checks. “Our group performs a lot of different tasks,” says Frankye. “If you see something that needs to be done, you jump in and help out.”

Frankye has been with Campus Partners for over 23 years and continues to learn and grow. She is actively involved, along with her teammates, in cross-training on all duties within the department to maximize productivity. Frankye, however, primarily oversees all FedEx mailings for the entire company and has excelled at being our collections analyst for a number of years.

“I feel very fortunate to have Frankye as part of the Servicing Support team,” comments Paula Hall, Servicing Support Supervisor. “Her knowledge of collection payment processing is invaluable. Frankye is the person to contact with questions relating to posting collection payments and has earned the well-deserved title ‘Collection Expert’. Whether it is processing collection payments or any other task within the department, I know Frankye will strive to do the best job possible.”

Frankye enjoys her job and speaks highly of her co-workers. “It feels like family here. I hope to be here for a long while,” Frankye exclaims. She describes Paula as a “working supervisor” and says she never hesitates to sit down with you and help you find the answer to any problem. “Paula is smart and will learn any job. I like that about her,” Frankye notes. As for the rest of her team, Frankye admits, “I love them all. Everyone always pulls together and works hard.”

Outside of work, Frankye upholds her caring and helpful nature. She works at an Assisted Living facility and states she does whatever job is needed. “It’s important for us all to do something for someone other than ourselves,” proclaims Frankye. She says the work she performs is humbling and immensely rewarding. “The people are so grateful.”

Frankye and her husband, David, have been married for 26 years. The couple has two children, Kirk, 20, and Abbey, 23. “I have good children. They are both great kids!” Frankye states proudly. Kirk is currently studying Automotive Technology at Surry Community College and Abbey is a graduate of East Carolina University. Along with her immediate family, Frankye is also close to her two brothers and three sisters. She and her siblings all live in nearby communities and gather at their mother’s house for lunch every Sunday.

At home, Frankye enjoys reading fiction novels, participating in church activities, such as singing and working with the youth. She also says she loves watching the Cooking Channel. “I don’t like to cook, but I like watching it on TV,” Frankye admits. But most importantly, Frankye says she would most like to be remembered as someone who shows kindness and compassion for others. “I don’t want to just leave a life. I want to leave a legacy.”
